  28. The G-Locks I've seen are a heap of shit.  We had one in the TV studio
  29. when I worked at the University of Southern Qld, and it _never_ booted up
  30. in the correct phase, causing all sorts of grief.  The one we have at work
  31. is worse, any monitor connected through its pass-thru flickers in and out
  32. of sync, now the horizontal timing is out, causing the picture to skew,
  33. and it doesn't boot up in any phase that a TV can recognise.  Oh, yes, a
  34. Scala dongle conflicts with the G-Lock control cable.
